Single girls, unicorns, or cougars, as they may variously call us, are often imagined to have an easy time in the swing scene. It couldn’t be further from the truth! From predatory men, to couples privilege to stereotyping and being spoken to like a sex toy, we have it rough. 1000 messages flooding your inbox isn’t that complimentary once you have seen the content of them. We seek utopia too, and once we start alone, we usually stay alone. Good thing we are herd animals, and have our other women to look out for us!

Swinging for women is certainly a different animal to swinging for men or as a couple. This is just for us. From your first tentative party experience, things to bring, what to wear, how to mingle, what the rules and etiquette are, the problems you will likely face and more, it’s a steep learning curve. Swinging for women is special. It’s different.
