We welcome Kinkss, a newly hatched swinger site into the world today – another glorious herald of the tantalising end to lockdown. Kinkss first got my notice with an unusual accolade- they are probably the most ruthlessly, repeatedly and unfairly banned profile the Instagram censors have ever dug their claws into. What does this say? Are Instagram worried they might have competition? I say fight the power. Let’s talk to the lovely creators of Kinkss about how and why they decided to start up a brand new swinger website for us to enjoy.
How did Kinkss get started?
During lockdown, we found that the sites we used could have improved with a more social aspect to the websites. The social side is a part of swinging that we really enjoy and have made some great friends through it. So with our spare time during the lockdown we set about about starting to make this happen.
Is Kinkss an app or a website?
An app is something we are looking to create in the future, however content rules makes this more difficult. So for now it is only website based.

What makes the Kinkss website different to others?
We are bringing the social side into it, liking, commenting on photos, sharing your own, HD live cams, everything needed for online swinging. All our members need to be verified to access the site.
Are you swingers yourselves?
We are swingers, and met on a swingers site. We feel this helps us with ideas for what other swingers would like from a swingers site.

How many people work for Kinkss?
Currently its just the two of us. We are a couple who have full time jobs. We will be running this along side our jobs, and have put a lot of our time and effort into this.
Who would enjoy the Kinkss website?
Anyone within the swinging scene, those who want to join the scene, clubs and businesses. We want a site that can be inclusive of everything swinging related for everyone to enjoy.

What safety and privacy measures are in place at Kinkss? 2019 saw many hookup websites exposed as not data secure.
We have policies in place to keep everyone’s data secure. Others cannot right click to save your photos. And once an account is deleted, as is all information linked to the account.
How do you avoid fakes and catfish?
All our members have to be verified. Simply take a clear photograph of yourself, single or couple, with a piece of paper showing your username and Kinkss.com held in your photograph.

Which countries is the Kinkss website suited for?
We are from the UK, but there is nothing to stop anyone in the world signing up. We are looking to launch in other languages in the future.
What steps have you taken to make the Kinkss website inclusive?
We have allowed for different sexualities and couples, as we want our site to be as inclusive of everyone. W will welcome and feedback from users on anything we can do to make our site as inclusive as possible. We are also inclusive of clubs and parties, allowing them to advertise their events within their pages and forums.

What steps have you taken to make the Kinkss website user friendly?
We have had testing with others outside of ourselves to get feedback on the ease to navigate around the site.
What has been put in place to avoid message-bombing of single women who join up?
It is an option we want to input, however, we haven’t yet found the software compatible with our site. But it will be an update as soon as possible to decide if you want to disallow any particular kind of profiles from messaging you.

Whats the best sort of profile picture to use on your site?
A profile picture is needed, however, you have your own option to choose. Face pictures usually make other users more likely to reply, but we also understand that some people want to keep their profiles discreet until they trust to send others face photos.
How easy is it to search for someone? What options and filters does Kinkss offer?
You can search for usernames, male, female, couple profiles, interests, with location coming on updates.

Is Kinkss usable in the free version?
You can create a profile, however to use all the features you need to subscribe to the site. We do have a launch offer of the first 500 members getting free subscription for a year.
What do you like best about swingers, the swinger lifestyle and the community?
We have met some lovely friends through the scene, and it’s been so nice to get so much support from other swingers about our site. Swinging isn’t for everyone, so it’s something that other swingers understand and therefore no judgement for whatever your own personal Kinkss are.
Does the site work on IOS, android and pc?
The site works on all of these.
What’s a great opening message to send someone on Kinkss?
Read their bio first, and send them a message about what they actually like, more that “Hi.” Something to start a conversation?

How does someone make their profile really attractive and successful on the Kinkss site?
You can add a profile picture, cover photo and interests and a bio. The more information you give on our profile, the easier it will be for other users to read and see as to whether you would be a good match.
How easy is it to get tech support or speak to a person if there’s a problem?
We have an email address for anyone to get in touch and we will personally respond to all emails with any information needed. We will also have an admin page on the Kinkss site. This way members can tag us in things that need reviewing, and also message us to ask any questions.
What will get you banned from Kinkss?
We have a report button. Anyone who is abusive to other members, or harasses other members. Depending upon the severity, it can start with a warning, suspension, or blocking and banning.
How big do you expect to Kinkss to grow?
We would love to grow big, the bigger the community, the more we can all enjoy other members. Community is what makes swinging sites.
Any other projects or plans for the future?
We will be looking at updates all the time. We already have some updates we are working on, and welcome feedback for anything we can do to make the site better.
Where can people learn more about the Kinkss site?
We use our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to answer questions. We will also be making videos to share about how to set up, however we think it is easy to work your way around.
Any words of wisdom from the people at Kinkss?
Communication is key for anyone on the swinging scene. Especially if you are in a couple. Singles, be sure you tell someone where you are going, safety is always needed first.
